Waynesboro Borough
This animation brings to life the design for a new downtown gathering space. Waynesboro’s unique industrial past informed modern styling of the entry piers to this new pocket park along Main Street, adding much needed gathering space in the core community, but also adding a sculptural element.
In addition to the gathering space created, the park is an extension of a parking area design behind the existing buildings. The parking plan increases efficiency in the surface parking lots by 15% while incorporating porous paving and Best Management Practices to manage storm water runoff and improve water quality.
