Creating a stimulating outdoor environment where education is disguised as fun was the common goal of the Children’s Garden design team composed of Derck & Edson Associates, consultants from the successful Michigan State University’s Children’s Garden, and representatives of Hershey Gardens. The garden provides outdoor educational opportunities through 24 theme gardens. An Education Center, Shaded Classroom Terrace, Amphitheatre, and Butterfly House provide space for interactive, curriculum-based programs.
