Atwater Village
The project consisted of creating a site master plan for a 200K SF mixed-use center and an 800 unit traditional neighborhood on 118 acres of a former quarry in East Whiteland Township, PA. Mark Evans prepared a plan for a village commercial district, amphitheater and mixed residential neighborhood plan to create value and civic amenities for four neighborhoods overlooking Atwater Lake. The residential types included singles, twins, townhomes, walkup and elevator served apartment while the commercial district included a hotel, library, offices, retail and a daycare center. The civic space plan included trails, parks, an amphitheater, green spaces and a central plaza. Services included a land plan, zoning compliance tables, residential typologies, conceptual grading plan, circulation plan and a civic space plan.
