Grove City Sustainability Audit
The Grove City Sustainability Audit includes many observations, goals, and strategies for enhancing the economic, social, community, and environmental sustainability of the City. These items range from code modifications that support and encourage infill development to cooperative bike sharing efforts with Grove City College as well as solutions for greening parking areas, alleys, and open spaces in Grove City.
What the Sustainability Audit also brought to the City is a process for facilitating dialogue about their local approach to sustainability and a road map to make positive change in their community.
Various transformation sketches were also created as part of the plan development. Through transformation sketches, we explored how infill development can work in Grove City, the role of green alleys in the downtown, and the restoration of a pedestrian bridge, reconnecting and enhancing a nearby residential neighborhood.
