Lycoming College
Lycoming College engaged Derck & Edson with a challenging program to provide planned campus growth within an urban setting. Derck & Edson prepared a plan which identified developed and undeveloped properties in and around the southern campus and made recommendations for land use and acquisition. The proposed improvements include: pedestrian and vehicular circulation, a visitor orientation center, intramural athletic facilities, and various landscape strategies designed to unify and enhance the campus. Additionally, the plan integrated the needs of the college while creating a vital link between the campus and the downtown business community.
