Initial consulting relationships often begin with taking a walking tour of a new community. Such was the case with Sewickley Borough. We spent the morning walking through town ~ talking, questioning, sharing, dreaming, and finally eating. The results of the day were two-fold.
First, we developed the two sketches included here to help visually portray the essence of our conversations.
The second, and ultimately more important, result was the learning that occurred as a result of the sharing. For us, we heard first hand experiences from their program perspective while exploring a new community with all its charm and urban form. For the community, they heard examples from our experiences elsewhere and saw their environment through unfiltered perspectives.
