Collegiate sports are practiced and played competitively year-long in a variety of climates. As an athletics planning and design firm, many of our collegiate clients desire full synthetic fields and facilities. This trend is becoming popular in order to provide all-weather locations for practice and competition.
During seasons like fall and spring, when the weather is often an issue, some of our favorite sports are practiced and played. Juniata College's Winton Hill athletics Complex was formerly the site of two natural turf fields, now provides an all-weather home for Juniata field hockey, lacrosse and, football. Additionally, our architecture team designed the field house building which includes locker rooms, permanent seating, a new entrance plaza, picnic terrace, and a storage building.
