Bloomsburg University Housing
Bloomsburg University had a need for more student housing and a new bookstore. The new residences and bookstore project is underway and now includes an auxiliary dining facility, the bookstore, and six-floor residence hall. We worked with the architect to re-imagine how the new facility could fit at the edge of campus while creating an enhanced sense of arrival.
This site was very challenging due to significant grade change, existing facilities around the site, and a significant number of existing buried utilities. Derck & Edson provided the project’s civil engineering and landscape architectural services. We also provided site electrical, site steam and site communications design services partnering with a sub consultant. We look forward to the close of construction and the definition of a new campus edge for Bloomsburg University.
