Cumberland Valley School District New Campus
Derck & Edson continues to work with the Cumberland Valley School District on planning and design. Most recently, we have provided site design services for a new campus to be created on a parcel comprised of roughly 128 acres, including land on both the north and south sides of Bali Hai Road. A portion of the property is located within Hampden Township, and the contiguous balance of land is within Silver Spring Township. The campus will include a new Middle School on the south side of Bali Hai Road, and a new Elementary School on a separate portion of the campus. New facilities on this site include:
- 227,000 square-foot Middle School
- 140,000 square-foot Elementary School
- natural turf athletic fields – both school areas
- track and synthetic turf field for the Middle School campus
