Downtown Honesdale Revitalization Plan
The revitalization plan for Honesdale involved creating a shared vision for economic development as well as the physical enhancement of the downtown. Through public meetings, stakeholder sessions, and planning committee discussions, feedback was gathered to inform all stages of the planning process. The project culminated in plans and renderings projecting the future of:
- Enhanced Main Street streetscape and community gateways
- Trails and parks to connect the river to the downtown
- Shared parking
- Downtown living
- Façade enhancements
- Community greening
Implementation and funding strategies for all aspects of the plan were also included in the final deliverable.
