Steamtown Mall
Working in conjunction with the architects for the project, Derck & Edson focused on exploring every conceivable option for the streetscape and interface with the Steamtown Mall facade and streetscape along Lackawanna Avenue in downtown Scranton. As part of our information gathering process, our team facilitated a “blue-sky” discussion in which every meeting attendee felt inspired to share ideas and contribute to the process. We collaborated with these and other project stakeholders to create three concept renderings representing the physical opportunities along Lackawanna Avenue. Concepts focused on informed visions for facade renovations, outdoor dining, streetscape amenities, and window displays.
