Angelica Park
The Alvernia University baseball, softball, and tennis teams compete at the Angelica Park Athletic Complex, located only a short walk from Alvernia’s main campus.
The baseball field was completed in 2009. The facility features a brick press box, decorative block dugouts and backstop, home and away bullpens, batting cages and scoreboard.
The Crusaders softball team began play on their new field in April of 2009. The new facility features a brick press box, stone dugouts, backstop and right field wall, home and away bullpens, batting cages and an impressive scoreboard in left center field. Outfield fences sit six feet high 210 feet from home plate all the way around.
With plenty of room for fans and the beautiful Angelica Park in the background, Alvernia’s new baseball and softball facilities are some of the best in the region.
Alvernia hosted an ECAC First Round game against Catholic University in 2010, the ECAC South Championships as the #2 seed in 2011 as well as the Commonwealth Championships in 2011.
The tennis venue offers four courts that provide a great atmosphere for matches and overlook the scenic trails, creeks, and the natural beauty of Angelica Park.
