Anna Maria College Land Use Plan and Campus Enhancement Plan ®
At Anna Maria College, Derck & Edson has worked with the College administration and campus community to create a vision that best meets the long-term needs of the College and allows for strategic growth and expansion. The CEP and Land Use Plan respects the surrounding rural community context by envisioning renovated, expanded, and new facilities that enhance the overall student experience. Keeping academic program needs and target enrollment goals in mind, the plan focuses on improvements campus-wide and addresses:
- New Campus gateway and arrival experience to enhance first impressions of campus for visitors and prospective students
- Relocated Vehicular circulation to a new loop road freeing up space to create of a dynamic pedestrian environment at the campus core with walkway connections, campus greens, and outdoor gathering spaces
- Strategic renovations, additions, and new construction aimed toward bolstering academic, student housing, and athletic facility offerings for the campus community.
