Millstone Plaza
The Millstone Plaza prominently showcases original mill stones excavated from an adjacent project site on West College Avenue in the borough. The new plaza provides a welcoming gesture at the newly created West College Avenue intersection.
The plaza spaces radiate from a pair of millstones set in the paving, while the remaining two stones are displayed vertically, featuring their intricate, carved detail and function. In addition to the hardscape elements, the plaza features a landscape that begins to flower in early spring with a large Weeping Cherry Tree and evolves through the rest of the seasons with floral, foliage, and textural interest, ensuring that the southern gateway to Elizabethtown Borough is always recognizable and welcoming.
