Lehigh University Baseball and Softball
Derck & Edson worked with Lehigh University to design and develop a completely new softball field and renovate the existing baseball field ~ creating facilities more reflective of Lehigh’s standing as a Division 1 university. This includes synthetic turf infield for baseball.
Our work included initial meetings with staff, exploring various design options, meeting with coaches to review and then finalize plans into both colored graphics and schematic pricing drawings for the contractor, and creating colored plans for use in fund raising.
In addition to creating top-notch facilities for the athletes, attention was also given to creating fan-friendly venues with raised seating, fully accessible grandstands, and support facilities including restrooms and concessions.
