Lycoming College Basin Street
Until it was demolished in 1968, the Dickinson Seminary anchored the east end of Lycoming College’s campus as the iconic entranceway. Through a master planning process with Lycoming College, we identified an opportunity to re-envision the campus gateway experience and enhance this portion of the city of Williamsport. Moving beyond planning, we collaborated with Lycoming College and BHDP Architecture to design this new entry to campus. The proposed gateway will include a new mixed-use district with retail opportunities and enhanced streetscape, as well as a new admissions and alumni relations building for the College, located almost in the same spot as the original Seminary.
