Messiah University Witmer Hall Renovation
One of the largest freshmen residence halls on campus with just under 300 beds, Witmer Hall has not seen a major renovation since it was built in the 1980’s. The master plan recognized the need for an approach to incrementally improve and renovate the College’s existing residence halls, with Witmer being the first in a multi-year, phased, plan. Improvements to Witmer Hall include the addition of an elevator to improve accessibility, a new HVAC system, renovated restrooms and lounges, and new windows and finishes throughout. All of this was accomplished over the summer break, creating a positive experience for the incoming freshman class.
