Sayre Borough

As the largest borough in Bradford County and the home of the Guthrie Clinic, the Sayre community was creating a vision for the future of this tight-knit community.

A key driver of this vision was a renewed focus on the core community including:

• health and wellness initiatives
• community engagement
• arts, culture, and heritage offerings
• outdoor recreational pursuits

Derck & Edson was invited to immerse our team in the borough and its planning in order to develop a collection of enhancement renderings that represented the desired transformations in select locations within the community core. Some of the results of our efforts are shared here – transformation sketches and a model of Desmond Street, one of the main corridors in the downtown.
