Birmingham-Southern College Lakeview Residences
Lakeview North and South Residence Halls opened in fall 2010 but started with planning and a desire to have new residences to fill out the housing offerings on campus. Offering views of the new Urban Environmental Park was a notable bonus of the site design and plan.
The Lakeview Residences were designed and constructed with beauty, comfort, and sustainability in mind. The project is a candidate for LEED Silver Certification.
As constructed, the design intent comes through as the new architecture and site features fit comfortably into the campus setting.
