Fort Washington Cottage Court
Our team prepared a site master plan for 42 cottages on a ~13.4 acre site in Fort Washington, PA. Based upon our research of cottage court neighborhoods and conservation design communities, we designed a neighborhood that preserved 50% of the site, including woodlands, meadows and pond, while minimizing the impact to the site’s natural features. Our plan clustered the cottages around a central green space and three pocket parks while minimizing the impact to the mature woodlands. We prepared a rezoning application, community engagement exhibits and precedent community imagery to assist our client during the land development process.
