Lancaster Green Infrastructure
The City of Lancaster covers 7.3 square miles. Of that, 22 acres are impervious. The runoff generated from these 22 acres will be managed and treated by 41 Green Infrastructure projects in the City limits.
We are working through the design and details of the first round of pilot projects with city staff. The diversity of project sites requires multiple green infrastructure approaches including infiltration and bio-retention systems, rain gardens, and rain barrels.
Snavely and Dosch
Our plan for the Snavely & Dosch property reorganizes parking to reduce impervious coverage by nearly 10,000 square feet. Vibrant landscape treatments will help manage runoff in rain gardens and bio-retention areas.
