Lititz Downtown Master Plan
The vision for this master planning effort was to create a Downtown Master Plan that will enhance, strengthen, and grow downtown Lititz as the nucleus of the Borough and surrounding Warwick Township.
Working through an inclusive process with the Main Street organization, key stakeholders, and the community as a whole, Derck & Edson developed this master plan to help lead the community to the next level of success.
Three guiding principles helped focus the process and planning:
- Expand the social, cultural, and retail offerings for residents while accommodating visitors and tourists
- Integrate the Lititz Run corridor and other civic spaces into the connected fabric of the downtown
- Establish a parking strategy
The detailed master plan addresses each of these principles, demonstrates how recommended changes might look through transformation sketches, plans, and narrative, and responds to demographic and spending data to support the conclusions in the plan.
