Paoli Station Area Plan and Public Outreach

This land use and transportation plan for the station area surrounding the Amtrak/ SEPTA Paoli train station focused on the need to enhance the streets, sidewalks, crosswalks, civic spaces, trails and their connections to four neighborhoods within Tredyffrin and Willistown Townships. During this two-year planning and community outreach effort our team led 12 public outreach events, engaging over 1,000 participants in person as well as 3,000 participants via online engagement. We coordinated our planning strategies and community engagement efforts with SEPTA and their planning team to assist in the efforts to relocate the train station and design a multimodal transportation center with a 5 level parking garage with first floor retail. Our services included station area planning, land use planning, zoning analysis, build out scenarios for existing zoning, parking management strategies, web site updates and community meeting facilitation.
