Sisters of the Divine Providence Master Plan
Derck & Edson created a master plan for the 47-acre Providence Heights campus in Pittsburgh that will guide and direct campus development and improvement projects. The plan is sensitive to the mission of the Congregation of Divine Providence and is a working document that will hold its relevance for years to come. The overall goal was to enhance a campus of distinction, capitalize on its religious heritage, and honor iconic architectural features.
The plan also addresses:
- deferred maintenance of existing facilities
- consolidation of space to support the ongoing mission of service
- plans for long-term care of aging members
- leveraging available space for the institution’s own needs as well as for the support of La Roche University
