UIU Master Plan
The master plan for Upper Iowa University builds on the strengths of the University and lays out a systematic approach to increasing the campus’ capacity to meet upcoming needs and goals. A digital 3D model of the campus was created to best illustrate the changes to come, and to show what impacts this phased approach would have on campus life.
Some projects recommended in the master plan were tackled immediately. These include the Liberal Arts Building, Student Center, and Peacock Plaza entry plaza.
The overall master plan process led us to touch on other areas of campus that required further planning and study, such as wayfinding and athletics.
The 3D model was packaged in various ways, including a fly-around campus tour.
